Chesterhouse Hotel,  Douglas, Isle of Man

The Isle of Man may be just a short ferry  crossing from the British mainland,  but it has an exclusive character that sets it apart.  It is a unique self-governing kingdom, with its own  parliament, traditions, culture and cuisine. As a holiday  Island, it is best known for its very amiable and relaxed  pace of life, along with its wealth of attractions.  The Isle of Man offers fabulous scenery, enchanting  glens, miles of harmonious beaches, medieval castles,  Victorian railways and trams, beautiful parks, gardens,  fascinating museums and heritage centres.

The 3* Chesterhouse Hotel is ideally situated on the  seafront and close to the town centre of Douglas on  the Isle of Man. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms,  a TV, a telephone and tea/coffee making facilities.  There is a passenger lift.

This 5 night break includes 4 nights dinner, bed and  breakfast at the Chesterhouse Hotel and one overnight  stop at a 3* hotel with evening meal and breakfast  on the outward journey. Coach excursions include  a guided coach tour around the South of the Island  with a visit to the Cregneash National Folk Museum.  An open air museum that portrays a traditional Manx  farming community from around the 19th and early  20th century. Visitors can watch the blacksmith, go  into the joiner’s workshop and see the flock of Manx  Loghtan sheep plus much more! There will also be train  rides on the Manx Electric Railway and the Snaefell Mountain Railway. There will be one day at leisure to  explore Douglas (train fares, tour guide and museum  admission included).
