Charming Towns & Cilla Sounds

Day 1 - Sunday:

We head towards Lincolnshire for our 2-night stay. We stop in Stamford on route, a Georgian town of immense charm with over 600 listed buildings, which has been used many times as a filming location. We allow time to explore and grab lunch before continuing onto our hotel. After dinner, sit back and relax, or maybe have a dance, as we enjoy a Cilla Black tribute act.

Day 2 - Monday:

After breakfast, we head towards Lincoln, where we will spend the day at leisure. Brimming with history and heritage, Lincoln is one of England’s finest cities. Perhaps visit Lincoln Cathedral, one of Europe’s finest Gothic Cathedrals, with stunning architecture and spectacular views from the tower. Just across from the cathedral you’ll find Lincoln Castle, where you can walk the medieval walls, visit the Victorian prison and see an original copy of the Magna Carta. You’ll also find great shopping and a wealth of places to eat and drink.

Day 3 - Tuesday:

We check out of our hotel this morning and head to the historic market town of Melton Mowbray, famous for its culinary heritage – especially the world-renowned Melton Mowbray Pork Pie and Stilton Cheese. Known as the ‘Rural Capital of Food’, the town combines traditional charm with rich agricultural past. A quintessential English town that celebrates its roots while offering a warm welcome to visitors. After time to explore and perhaps pick up some Pork Pies for the journey home, we re-board our coach and head back to Kent.
