Day 1 - Sunday:
We depart Kent this morning and travel to Falmouth, arriving late afternoon at the Falmouth Hotel for our 4-night stay.
DDay 2 - Monday:
Today is a day at leisure to explore the delights of Falmouth or relax at the hotel. Maybe take the opportunity to try a spa treatment or enjoy the leisure facilities at the hotel. Stroll through the bustling cobbled streets and visit Falmouth’s charming mix of shops, from specialist outlets to well-known high-street names and art galleries. Try not to miss the chance to visit the National Maritime Museum.
B, DDay 3 - Tuesday:
A full-day tour today, driving first via Marazion for some fine views of St Michaels Mount before arriving in Penzance with its long sweeping promenade. On then to pretty St Ives. St Ives is one of the most quaint and attractive towns in Cornwall with a golden sand beach, narrow cobbled streets and colourful granite cottages that earn it the reputation of being an artist’s paradise.
B, DDay 4 - Wednesday:
Today we visit the bustling city of Truro with its flowing rivers, picturesque streets with 18th and 19th century townhouses and a magnificent cathedral that dominates the city. On then to Trebah Gardens a sub-tropical paradise with a stunning coastal backdrop. Trebah offers visitors a year-round experience. There is a colourful array of 100-year-old rhododendrons, magnolias, camellias and a giant gunnera whilst Hydrangea Valley casts clouds of China blue and soft white across Mallard Pond.
B, DDay 5 - Thursday:
Sadly, it’s time to head home. We check out after breakfast and begin our journey back to Kent.

Set in a beautiful location on the clifftop overlooking the sea, the traditional, grand Victorian Falmouth Hotel is just a short, easy 10-minute walk to the town centre and beach and is ideally located for visits to nearby attractions. The hotel traditionally styled, comfortable bedrooms have a homely feel, and all contain a TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The restaurant is bright, with lots of natural daylight and offers lovely views over the coastline, whilst the lounge bar has comfortable seating providing a cosy area in which to enjoy a drink or light snack. Set in 5 acres of landscaped gardens, there is also an outside seating area overlooking the sea. Leisure facilities include an indoor swimming pool and hot tub.
