Travel to Doncaster
We depart Kent and travel to our hotel in time for dinner.

Day 2 - Tuesday

Lincoln Cathedral
We spend today in Lincoln, starting with a morning visit to the magnificent Lincoln Cathedral. One of Europe's finest gothic buildings dating back to the 11th century, our visit includes a 1 hour floor tour where an expert guide takes us on a journey revealing hundreds of years of history. Enjoy free time for lunch and a wander around the city.

Day 3 - Wednesday

Yorkshire Wildlife Park
Today we make the most of our unique location with a visit to Yorkshire Wildlife Park. As the UK's number one walkthrough wildlife experience, we're in for a 'roarsome' day out with around 475 animals to meet! Among the 60 different species, highlights include Project Polar, home to the only Polar Bears in England; magnificent African Lions in the seven-acre Lion Country; a family of Californian sea lions in the largest purpose-built habitat of its kind in the world; and the 300 metre raised walkway above Land of the Tigers.. Other critters to loo out for include rhinos, giraffes, red pandas, leopards, monkeys, lemurs, zebras and many more!

Day 4 - Thursday

Thursday: Cleethorpes & Railway Journey with Fish and Chips
Today we hop on a historic miniature railway for a 45 minute return journey along the picturesque Humberside Coast with the Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway. The trip includes a delicious lunch of fish and chips, plus a visit to the smallest pub on the planet, The Signal Box Inn! We also enjoy some time at leisure to relax in the Victorian seaside resort of Cleethorpes.

Home time.
After breakfast, we make our way home.

THE HEX HOTEL, DONCASTER

Opened in 2022, the Hex Hotel is uniquely located in The Yorkshire Hive, a shopping, dining & entertainment complex which also includes Yorkshire Wildlife Park. All 52 rooms are decorated to a superb standard of modern design with most offering walk-in showers. All are equipped with a TV, Hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.

Please note due to the unique set-up of this complex, the reception, bedrooms, restaurant and bar are in separate buildings within The Yorkshire Hive, just a few steps from one another.
