Prepare to ignite your curiosity, immerse your senses and elevate your perspective at London’s epic new viewing experience, Lift 109. Step inside the iconic Battersea Power Station and make a thrilling ascent 109 metres to the top of the north-west chimney where you will take in stunning 360 degree views of London’s skyline.

Your Lift 109 journey begins in the Power Station’s magnificent Art Deco Turbine Hall A, where through a carefully curated exhibition of original records and multimedia displays you’ll discover more about the building’s rich heritage, its architectural significance and enduring presence in popular culture.

Continuing onwards and upwards, constellations of light guide your way as the elevator makes its ascent up one of the iconic chimneys and from 109 metres at the top you will take in a panoramic view like no other.

 

These timings are subject to change, depending on numbers and availability.

 

Battersea Power station has plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from, so plenty of leisure time to grab something to eat and have a browse around the area.

 

Accessibility

Wheelchair and Mobility Scooter Access: Battersea Power Station and its surrounding area are fully accessible, with paths, ramps, and nearby accessible underground stations.

Accessible Lifts and Escalators: Wherever there are stairs in Battersea Power Station, accessible lifts or escalators are available.

Seating: Available in the gallery, infinity room, transfer lobby, and within Lift 109 itself.

 

Lift 109

Mobility Scooters

Due to operational requirements at Lift 109 and the strict evacuation procedure we have in place, mobility scooters cannot be brought into the Lift 109. Guests who use a mobility scooter will be required to transfer to a standard wheelchair, and the mobility scooter will be safely stored in our buggy park during the ascent. (you will need to contact Lift 109 to arrange a wheelchair)

Wheelchair Size

Due to the restricted space within the chimney, The maximum wheelchair size we can accommodate is 115cm by 65cm. Please note mobility scooters are not permitted due to the strict evacuation procedures at Lift 109.

Stairs at Lift 109

There are 39 spiral stairs with bannisters on either side and floor lights for increased grip.
