Day 1 - Monday:

We depart Kent this morning and make our way to the beautiful Ribble Valley stopping on route in Royal Leamington Spa.

Day 2 - Tuesday:

Today we visit RHS Garden Bridgewater. Here, we’ll have time to explore the stunning gardens at our leisure, taking in the vibrant displays and peaceful surroundings before returning to the hotel later in the day.

Day 3 - Wednesday:

After breakfast we set off for a morning visit to the bustling Bury Market, one of the most popular markets in the region. After time to browse and shop at leisure, we make our way to Samlesbury Hall, a 700 year old half-timbered medieval stately home dating back to 1325. With seven centuries of history to explore across three floors of rooms.

Day 4 - Thursday:

This morning, we set off for a fascinating guided coach tour exploring the history and beauty of the Pendle Witch region and the scenic Ribble Valley. Along the way, we'll uncover stories of local legends and enjoy picturesque views of the surrounding countryside before returning to the hotel late afternoon.

Day 5 - Friday:

We depart the hotel this morning and begin our journey back to Kent, stopping on route in Peterborough.

The Foxfields Country Hotel

Set within 9 acres of landscaped gardens, Foxfields Country Hotel offers breathtaking views of Pendle Hill and the surrounding countryside. Located near the historic village of Whalley, it’s an ideal base for exploring the Ribble Valley. All rooms are tastefully decorated and include en-suite bathrooms with bath and shower, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, hairdryers, and tea and coffee facilities. Guests will also have full access to leisure facilities, including an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and mini gym. Some ground floor rooms available on request. There is no lift access to upper floors.
