Holiday Terms & Conditions of Booking

Farleigh Coaches accepts no responsibility for any loss of monies, personal belongings or extra expenses incurred for inadequate travel insurance. No refunds will be issued.

Farleigh Coaches reserve the right to amend a tour programme or itinerary without prior notice and to substitute accommodation/facilities using hotels of a similar quality. FC reserves the right to use a smaller vehicle on any excursion, should numbers warrant it.

Our Terms & Conditions form the basis of a legally binding contract between you, as the lead name making the booking and anyone else in your party, with Farleigh Coaches. When you make a booking, as the lead name, you will be obliged to accept, on behalf of your party, the terms and conditions of booking.

TRANSFERRING YOUR HOLIDAY TO SOMEONE ELSE:

You may transfer your booking to someone else up to 14 days prior to the tour commencing. We will charge an administrative cost of £25 per amended passenger as well as any reasonable costs caused by the transfer. You will remain responsible for ensuring the holiday is paid in full by the due date.

TIME KEEPING:

You will be responsible for your own time keeping. Departure times will be given to you by your driver. No refunds or compensation will be provided to passengers missing departures due to lateness.

MECHANICAL FAILURE:

While we go to great lengths to ensure our vehicles function correctly and efficiently, mechanical items can fail. In this event FC will do everything possible to minimise inconvenience, however we cannot be financially liable should such occur.

TRAVEL DELAY:

There are occasions when traffic causes delays.

We do attempt to minimise inconvenience, however, cannot accept liability for such instances.

IILNESS:

In the unlikely event you become ill on holiday, we will follow procedures as laid down by the local Health & Environmental Office and those of the hotel. If we feel your condition is likely to have a significant effect on other clients taking the same holiday, we may ask any member of your party to be confined to their room, leave the hotel immediately or find alternative methods of travel to safeguard the wellbeing of other passengers.

CANCELLATION BY CUSTOMER (FOR A HOLIDAY)

You may cancel at any time providing the cancellation is made by the lead passenger who signed the booking form. All cancellations must be submitted in writing within 6 weeks prior to travel. Failure to do this will result in you being liable for the full cost of the holiday. Cancellation will take effect from the day that FC receive your written confirmation. A reduction in room occupancy may incur a surcharge for the remaining passengers.

NOTE. We do recommend you take out holiday insurance at the time of booking, where you may be eligible to reclaim charges under the terms of your policy in the case of cancellations. Please call us for more information.

CANCELLATION BY CUSTOMER (FOR A DAY EXCURSION)

Payments are non-refundable. Should you cancel within 21 days of travel, a credit note will be issued to exchange to another day excursion of your choice, subject to availability.

CANCELLATION BY FARLEIGH COACHES:

Farleigh Coaches reserve the right to cancel any tour due to insufficient numbers booked. All monies paid would then be returned or transferred to another tour of choice, subject to availability.

FORCE MAJEURE:

We regret we cannot accept any liability, offer refunds or compensation, when the performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected by ‘force majeure’.

‘Force majeure’ are events and circumstances which are beyond our reasonable control. These events, whether actual or threatened include but are not limited to strikes, riots, political/civil unrest, government acts, hostilities, war, terrorist activity, advice from UK Foreign Office to avoid or leave a country or region, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, viral outbreak, health risks, pandemics, adverse and severe weather conditions, closure, restriction or congestion of airports, ports, stations or other transport hubs. You are advised to check with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office Advice Unit prior to travel at

www.fco.gov.uk/travel. If you are travelling on a tour or excursion, which include entry tickets, we cannot accept responsibility for the amendment or cancellation made by event organisers. Should the situation arise, the travel arrangements will still proceed, and we will not always be able to advise you of such an occurrence before you travel. Therefore, transfers or cancellations will not be permitted, and we regret no refunds, compensation or expenses will be payable.

ALL WARNER BREAKS:

Please note that for bookings which include a Warner Leisure Hotel overnight stay, an additional £10 deposit is required to be paid directly to the hotel by FC on your behalf. This part of your deposit cannot be refunded or transferred by FC under any circumstance.

PASSENGER BEHAVIOUR:

We want all our customers to have a happy and carefree holiday. You are responsible for your behaviour and hygiene, and the affect it may have on others. If you or any other member of your party is abusive, disruptive or behaves in a way that could cause damage or injury to others or affect their enjoyment of their holiday, we have the right to terminate your contract with us and we will have no further liability or obligation to you. The coach driver is entitled to refuse you boarding if in their reasonable opinion you are unacceptably under the influence of drink or drugs or you are being violent or disruptive.
