A Weekend in the Dales

Day 1 - Thursday

We depart Kent and make our way to our hotel, where we will spend the next 4 nights.

Day 2 - Friday

Today we head into Harrogate for a day at leisure.

Day 3 - Saturday

Today we explore the stunning Emmerdale Village as we visit the outdoor set where episodes of your favourite soap are brought to life. Home to the stars of Emmerdale during the week, this exclusive experience the drama for yourself. Enjoy this 90 minute, fully guided, outside walking tour where youll explore the village and see exterior sets of The Woolpack, Cafe Mainstreet, Davids shop and many more - Plenty of time to take photos. There is the chance to purchase snacks, refreshments and souvenirs too. The Emmerdale Village Tour is an outside walking tour with uneven surfaces and some hilly areas.

Day 4 - Sunday

We start today in skipton, often referred to as the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. With its famous 900 year old castle, romantic ruined priory and historic cobbled high street, Skipton is a market town rich in history and outstanding natural beauty. We continue into the heartof the Yorkshire dales, for a scenic country drive to Hawes. Here youll find plenty of cafes and pubs, some of which are tucked down little side streets and above shops. Youll also find the award-winning Wensleydale Creamery, The crumbly white cheese which was made famous by the animated Wallace and Gromit films is still hand made on site and you can watch it being produced.

Day 5 - Monday

We check out after breakfast and head home
