Take a 45-minute journey from Wroxham to the historic town of Aylsham where you will be welcomed for your festive 2-course lunch.
View Dates & BookTake a relaxing 45-minute heritage train journey through the picturesque Norfolk countryside from Wroxham to the historic market town of Aylsham aboard the Bure Valley Railway. On arrival in Aylsham, you will be welcomed at The Whistlestop Café, where you’ll enjoy a festive 2-course Christmas lunch complete with all the traditional trimmings. Choose from a selection of seasonal desserts, followed by tea or coffee and a warm mince pie to finish.
After lunch, there will be time to relax before you board the return train back to Wroxham, enjoying the scenic views once again.

Are you wheelchair friendly?
Our stations are all flat and on one level. Each train is equipped with a saloon double doored coach. Our guards can assist you with ramps if required. We advise booking in advance if you require one of these coaches.
Are there any toilets on the trains?
No, our trains are narrow gauge engines with small compartments but we have toilets at both Aylsham and Wroxham Stations.
How long does the journey take?
A single journey takes 45 minutes each way.
