Day 1 - Wednesday:

After leaving Kent we will travel to Warwickshire arriving in the afternoon at Chesford Grange Hotel. Tea, coffee and mince pies are served on arrival. After dinner tonight, there is a festive quiz.

Day 2 - Thursday:

Christmas Eve:
Today we visit the superb city of Lichfield. Here there is much to see and do, particularly the stunning Lichfield Cathedral, set in a remarkable and serene close. Over 800 years old the building is the third on the site and is well worth a visit. Later we return to the hotel for afternoon refreshments with chance to relax before dinner to be accompanied by local Carol Singers. For those wishing to attend Midnight Mass details of local church services will be available, with hot chocolate on return.

Day 3 - Friday:

Christmas Day:
Merry Christmas to all! Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and open your presents. Have a relaxing morning in the hotel maybe make use of the leisure facilities and take a swim. Traditional Christmas lunch is served at midday. The King’s Speech will be shown in the afternoon accompanied by tea and Christmas cake. Finish the day with a leisurely buffet (if you have the room) followed by in house entertainment of bingo!

Day 4 - Saturday:

Boxing Day:
We start the day with a drive south to historic Stratford-upon-Avon, the famous birthplace of Shakespeare. After time for lunch we head for Warwick, with its pretty castle which overlooks the town. We have chance to explore before we return to the hotel. In the evening, join us for a pre-dinner drink before our Farewell Dinner, followed by entertainment.

Day 5 - Sunday:

After breakfast, we leave and begin our journey home.

The Chesford Grange hotel, is located near the banks of the River Avon with great links to the surrounding area. Hotel facilities include health club, indoor swimming pool and spa.
