Gorgeous Guernsey & The Isle of Sark

Day 1 - Monday:

We depart Kent early this morning and travel to Poole for our afternoon ferry crossing to Guernsey, with Condor Ferries. We board the ferry as foot passengers.
We meet our transfer at the Port in Guernsey and travel to the Peninsula Hotel for our 4 night stay.

Day 2 - Tuesday:

Today we enjoy a full day guided tour of the island with a local operator. Explore the beautiful scenery, beaches and look out points. Visit the Little Chapel, beautifully decorated with seashells, pebbles and broken china. You will also see Sausmarez Park where you may spot the exotic camellias and magnolias planted by a Guernsey diplomat whom served as the British Ambassador to Japan.

Day 3 - Wednesday:

Today we embark on a full day excursion to the sleepy Isle of Sark, 50 minutes by boat from Guernsey. Arrival transfers by ‘tractor-train’ to Sark’s commercial centre are included. We then enjoy a relaxing 1 hour carriage ride around the north of the island. You will also have time at leisure before our return boat back to St Peter Port, and transfer back to our hotel.

Day 4 - Thursday:

Today is at leisure. Simply relax in the hotels grounds and enjoy the sandy beach it is situated on. Unwind by the hotels outdoor heated pool. Or you could take a trip on one of the local buses into St Peter Port. This charming town with cobbled streets blending history with excellent restaurants and local shops is well worth a visit. With mainly family-run businesses, no two shops are the same. Standing guard in the harbour, you will find Castle Cornet, offering an insight into island history with four museums and several historic gardens.

Day 5 - Friday:

We check out of the Peninsula Hotel. Our transfer takes us from the hotel to the Port, where we board our morning ferry crossing back to Poole.
Arriving in Poole after lunchtime. We continue on homeward bound back to Kent.
