Day 1 – Monday:

We make our way to Portsmouth to catch our ferry
crossing to the Isle of Wight, for our festive 4 night
stay in Ryde.

Day 2 - Tuesday:

Today we take in a scenic drive around the Island.
Our driver takes us to a couple of popular spots on
the island, where you will have a chance to explore,
grab a bite to eat and perhaps even pop into some
shops. We return to our Ryde this afternoon.

Day 3 - Wednesday:

Today is at leisure in Ryde. Spend time exploring all
this lovely seaside town has to offer.

Day 4 - Thursday:

Today we venture out to Godshill. This quintessential
village is postcard-perfect with thatched cottages
clustered around a typical English church and
winding street lined with traditional tearooms. You’ll
have time to explore and grab some lunch before we
return to Ryde for the afternoon at leisure.

Day 5 - Friday:

It’s time to check out and head home, with suitable
comfort stops on route.

The Royal Esplanade Hotel, Ryde

The traditional, Victorian Royal Esplanade hotel

enjoys a superb seaside location close to the

promenade in the heart of the lively resort of Ryde,

just a short walk from the centre of town. The 70

bedrooms are well-decorated and offer a mix of

styles with excellent bathrooms. The restaurant and

bar offer attractive décor and comfortable seating

areas and there is a large entertainment lounge and

a small rear outdoor terrace.
