Welcome to Jersey - the most southerly Island of the British Isles, located 100 miles south of mainland Britain yet only 14 miles from the coast of France. This 7-day tour incorporates 2 nights in Bournemouth due to the ferry crossing times. Spending 4 nights at the lovely Merton Hotel, we allow plenty of time at leisure for you to explore the Islands charm. We also include an informative full day island tour to witness some of Jersey’s stunning coastline.

Day 1 - Sunday:
Travel to Bournemouth
We travel to Bournemouth today and check into our hotel, where we will spend the night. Dinner at the hotel this evening.
Day 2 - Monday:
Poole to Jersey Ferry Crossing.
We check out of our hotel in Bournemouth and make our way to Poole to catch our ferry crossing to Jersey.
We depart our coach here and board the ferry as foot passengers. Arriving in Jersey, we are greeted by another coach that will take us to the lovely Merton Hotel in St Helier.
Day 3 - Tuesday:
Island Tour of Jersey
Today we experience Jersey’s beautiful coastline on a full day ‘Round the Island’ excursion.
Our tour includes visits to some of Jersey’s stunning Bays, including St Aubin’s Bay, St Brelade Bay, Corbière Lighthouse and Gorey Harbour. A scenic day out with plenty of photo and refreshment stops along the way.
Day 4 - Wednesday:
Leisure Day
Today is at leisure on Jersey. Jersey has a convenient ‘Hop On Hop Off’ bus system and this can be used for independent travel around the Island. Visit attractions such as the world famous Durrell Wildlife Park or the fascinating Jersey War Tunnels.
Day 5 - Thursday:
Leisure Day
Enjoy time at leisure in St Helier, just a pleasant 15 minute stroll from the hotel. St Helier offers a lovely variety of high street and unique shops, with cafes, bars, and restaurants. Perhaps hop on a bus and head towards Gorey, where you’ll find beautiful views and Mont Orgueil Castle. As well as buses, there is a land train that travels from St Helier to St Aubin, a lovely harbour village. With so much to do on the Island, it’s up to you what you choose.
Day 6 - Friday:
Check out of Hotel and travel to Bournemouth
We catch our ferry crossing back to Poole, where we meet our coach and head to Bournemouth for our overnight stay.
Day 7 - Saturday:
Saturday: Home Time
We depart Bournemouth this morning and head back home to Kent.

The 3 star Merton Hotel is in St Saviour, just a 15 minute walk into the centre of St Helier, via a pretty park. There is a convenient bus stop nearby which has several routes stopping at the islands attractions, such as the world famous Jersey Zoo.
All rooms are en-suite and equipped with a TV, radio, tea/coffee making facilities hair dryer, and telephone.
The hotel operates a varied entertainment programme, from high quality productions to light entertainment in the lobby lounge, available to all guests. The hotel also boasts fantastic leisure facilities. Situated just across the road from the hotel and available to all guests is the Merton's aquadome swimming pools and leisure club, featuring indoor and outdoor pools, spa pools, gym, sauna, steam room and a cafe serving light snacks.
