Kentish Lady Cruise with Fish & Chip lunch

A relaxing 3 hour cruise along the river Medway, with a fish and chip lunch included.

The Kentish Lady departs from the main mooring at the rear of the Archbishops Palace in Maidstone and then cruises upriver through Farleigh Lock and onwards under Farleigh, Barming and Teston bridges, turning at Teston Lock for the return journey.

With history around every corner and beautiful scenery this excursion is a wonderful experience from start to finish and includes an informative commentary, once we are through Farleigh Lock the countryside opens up to reveal wildlife of all varieties including Kingfishers, Herons, Swans, Cormorants, Geese and Ducks, so remember to keep a watchful eye out!

The catamaran style vessel has a fully licensed bar and onboard toilet facilities, its ground level decks also provide easy access for a limited number of standard wheelchairs.

Your food is brought on at the beginning of the cruise and is sourced from local suppliers. Food is to be eaten takeaway style on your lap, with cutlery and condiments supplied.

Choose from fish, sausage or vegetarian spring roll. Please let us know your menu choice at the time of booking.

Disabled Access

Set on a single deck, the Kentish Lady provides excellent access for the disabled. With normal river conditions there is level entry for most wheelchairs (maximum 30 inches wide). Please note, however, that our toilets are ‘walk in’ only.
