Enjoy a relaxed winter afternoon and early evening at Port Lympne Illuminated, where you can step into the secret after-dark world of the reserve, with woodland walks and gardens brought to life by imaginative light displays inspired by its animal residents.

You will arrive at approximately 14:00, giving you plenty of time to explore at your own pace. Take in the views across the reserve, visit one of the cafés or restaurants, or simply enjoy a wander before the trail begins.

The Illuminated Trail starts at 16:15 and takes around 60 minutes to complete. The route follows a clearly marked path through gardens and wooded areas, designed to be enjoyed at a steady, easy pace.

Along the way, you’ll pass a range of light installations and projections, including illuminated animal figures and thoughtfully designed displays that sit naturally within the surroundings. The trail is designed as more than just a series of lights, combining the setting of the reserve with modern lighting, gentle sound and music to create a relaxed, immersive experience as you walk.

There are some gentle slopes along the route, so comfortable footwear is recommended.
