Day 1 - Monday:
We complete our pick-ups and make our way to Devon with suitable comfort stops on route. Arriving at the hotel in the afternoon, we are welcomed with tea/coffee in the lounge.
DDay 2 - Tuesday:
After breakfast at the hotel, we make our way to Brixham. Famous for fishing, art and those colourful houses lining the harbour, Brixham is one of the busiest fishing ports in the UK and home to some of the finest sea food.
B, DDay 3 - Wednesday:
Today we travel on the steam railway from Paignton along the stunning stretch of coastline to Kingswear, where we then catch the foot passenger ferry to Dartmouth. Here, we enjoy a circular River Cruise around the river and estuary. Time to explore the historic maritime town of Dartmouth, before we board the foot passenger ferry back to Kingswear and steam train back to Paignton.
B, DDay 4 - Thursday:
After breakfast, we make our way to Torquay. Explore the popular, traditional, thriving seaside town, in the heart of the English Riviera. With its iconic palm trees, busy harbour, international marina, sandy beach and wonderful array of continental style cafes, restaurants and cocktail bars.
B, DDay 5 - Friday:
Checking out after breakfast, we say goodbye to The Marine Hotel and begin our journey back to Kent, with suitable comfort stops on route.

The Marine Hotel

The popular, family run Marine Hotel is well recommended and occupies a privileged, level position on the sea front in the heart of Paignton’s resort area. There is evening entertainment in the lounge bar and a comfortable conservatory with sea views, as well as a TV lounge. All the bedrooms are en-suite, and a lift serves all floors, however some bedrooms are accessed by a few steps, including those with sea views.
Accessibility: There is a passenger lift, as well as a few ground floor rooms.
