Queen Elizabeth II: Her Life in Style is a major exhibition at The King’s Gallery, Buckingham Palace. It charts the extraordinary fashion journey of Britain’s longest-reigning monarch across all ten decades of her life — from early childhood garments through princess-era outfits to iconic royal and state occasion dress.

The show brings together approximately 200 items from the Queen’s wardrobe — including clothing, jewellery, hats, shoes, and accessories — with many pieces displayed publicly for the first time. In addition to finished outfits, the exhibition features design sketches, fabric samples, and handwritten correspondence that illuminate the creative and personal processes behind her style. Highlights include her christening robe, wedding dress, coronation dress, and key ensembles from landmark moments in 20th- and 21st-century history.

Curated in the year the Queen would have turned 100, this exhibition celebrates her enduring fashion legacy and her influential role in shaping British style.
