Shen Yun

Experience the beauty and spectacle of Shen Yun 2027 at London’s Eventim Apollo.

 

Shen Yun takes audiences on a journey through 5,000 years of Chinese civilisation, bringing ancient stories, legends and traditions to life through classical Chinese dance, live orchestral music and stunning visual effects.

 

The performance features stories of courage, compassion and faith, with tales drawn from Chinese history, folklore and mythology. Dancers bring legendary figures and characters to the stage through graceful movement and elaborate costumes, while the live orchestra combines Western and traditional Chinese instruments to create a distinctive musical sound.

 

From ancient battles and mythical tales to stories of heroes and spiritual traditions, each scene offers a glimpse into a different part of China's rich cultural heritage. With colourful costumes, impressive choreography and ever-changing backdrops, Shen Yun is a spectacular celebration of traditional Chinese culture.

Run Time:

2 hours and 15 minutes including intermission

 

Performances start right on time. The performance is one whole experience—you won’t want to miss any part of it.

 

No photography or recording of any kind. This includes smartphones and any wearable smart glasses or other device. Photography and recording violate copyright law and are taken very seriously by theatre staff and security.

 

Note regarding theatrical effects: This event employs CGI special effects, atmospheric effects, and sound effects, and is a visually, aurally, and emotionally immersive experience.

 

Loud cheering or whistling can be distracting to both performers and other audience members, but applause is always appreciated.

 

Anyone causing disturbances or obstruction may be asked to leave. Please respect the right of others to enjoy the performance.

 

Steps:

There is an access ramp at the front entrance of the building, or two steps from the street into the venue. The foyer and bar area into the auditorium is step free. The circle seating area is only accessible via steps. Unfortunately there is no lift to the circle area.

 

There are:

30 steps from the main entrance to the circle foyer

10 steps from the circle foyer to circle auditorium entrance

12 steps from circle auditorium entrance Row F to A

39 steps from circle auditorium entrance Row G to Z and rear circle standing

For example, if you have a seat in row F of the circle, there are a total of 52 steps.
