Shropshire Delights

Day 1 - Monday

Travel to Shropshire.
We depart Kent and travel to Shropshire, making a nice comfort stop on route, before arriving at our hotel this afternoon, with time to freshen up before our evening meal.

Day 2 - Tuesday

Shrewsbury with Boat Trip Included
Today, we head into Shrewsbury, where we enjoy a 45-minute relaxing cruise, with commentary, table service and on-board town maps for you to plan the rest of your day. This scenic cruise travels along the famous and very picturesque River Severn Loop and includes tea/coffee and biscuits on board. The rest of the day is yours to explore all that Shrewsbury has to offer. As the birthplace of Charles Darwin, its arguably the finest Tudor town in England.

Day 3 - Wednesday

Oswestry on Market Day, Church Stretton & Ludlow
This morning we head to Oswestry, where Shropshire meets Wales. This traditional and friendly market town is well known for its street markets, independent shops and year-round events. We visit today on its market day, where you can expect to find over 40 independent local businesses selling pretty much everything you can think of, from delicious homemade cuisine to beautiful bespoke gifts.

Day 4 - Thursday

: RAF Cosford & Blists Hill Victorian Town
A fascinating start to the day as we visit RAF Cosford this morning, a training airfield which tells story of the RAF, alongside a collection of historic aircraft, including the world's oldest spitfire. Fly with the Red Arrows in the 4D theatre and become a Spitfire pilot in the 360-degree VR experience. This year, the museum is celebrating 50 years of sharing the RAF story.
We move onto visit Blists Hill Victorian Town this afternoon. This open-air living museum vividly re-enacts life in Ironbridge from the early 1700's to the Victorian era.
We complete our day by viewing the Iron Bridge itself before returning to our hotel

Day 5 - Friday
