Day 1 - Friday:
We depart Kent and travel to the lovely seaside resort of Sidmouth for our 4-night stay.
DDay 2 - Saturday:
Today is at leisure in Sidmouth. A seaside town like no other, with friendly faces and beautiful scenery. Take a wander along the seafront and explore the towns independent and high street shops, including traditional sweet shops, boutiques, cafes and coffee shops.
B, DDay 3 - Sunday:
Today we head to Lyme Regis, a charming seaside town nestled on the stunning Jurassic Coast. Explore the towns history at the Lyme Regis Museum, wander round the beautiful harbour and enjoy the diverse shops, galleries and eateries lining the picturesque streets.
B, DDay 4 - Monday:
This morning, we head towards Seaton, stopping at The Donkey Sanctuary on route. Spend some time here discovering the history behind the Donkey Sanctuary and how it was founded in the 1960’s. Meet a few furry friends, explore the interactive displays, enjoy a delicious snack from the café on site and shop a variety of quality gifts and souvenirs, with every purchase helping a donkey in need. We continue to Seaton, where you will have time at leisure to explore the quaint little village. We include a return journey on the Seaton Tramway. The three-mile route runs through East Devon’s glorious Axe Valley to the small village of Colyton. You’ll find a well-stocked shop at Colyton Station, which has a wide range of souvenirs and unique gifts.
B, DDay 5 - Tuesday:
Sadly, it’s time to head back home to Kent.

The Bedford Hotel
The Bedford Hotel is a friendly family run hotel situated on Sidmouth seafront with breathtaking sea views over Lyme Bay. There is plenty to do within easy reach of the hotel. All bedrooms are en suite with walk in showers. There is a lift to both first and second floors, but please note some rooms are approached by several steps. There are two comfortable lounges and a spacious dining room serving quality fresh local produce.
