Day 1 - Weds 19 Aug:
We depart Kent and travel to our overnight hotel in Penrith.
DDay 2 - Thur 20 Aug:
We depart our overnight hotel this morning and head to our main stay hotel, The Best Western Plus Keavil House Hotel.
B, DDay 3 - Fri 21 Aug:
This morning, we travel the short distance to visit the Kelpies. Marvel at the largest equine sculptures in the world, standing at 100 feet tall. This afternoon, we travel to the city of Stirling, with its famous castle and interesting ranges of shops, cafes and pubs.
B, DDay 4 - Sat 22 Aug:
After a leisurely breakfast, we travel to the capital city of Scotland, Edinburgh where we enjoy free time to explore the city at leisure. The city is dominated by the magnificent Edinburgh Castle. It is the most visited attraction in Scotland. Other attractions include the gardens on Princes Street, the Old Town, the Royal Mile leading to Holyrood House, and much more. The hotel has provided a packed lunch to enjoy. Dinner is not included tonight so guests are encouraged to enjoy dinner in the city before taking their seats at the internationally renowned Edinburgh Tattoo. Expect anything and everything – from Highland dancers, fiddle players and steel bands, to martial art performers and daredevil motorbike acrobatic displays. Not to forget a grand finale featuring a rendition of Auld Lang Syne and a spectacular fireworks display. It’s a stunning event that gets bigger and better every year!

We enjoy a leisurely breakfast before departing our main stay hotel and travelling to The Cedar Court Bradford Hotel for our overnight stay.

We check out of our hotel after breakfast and continue homeward bound.

The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo
The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo is Scotland’s biggest, bestselling outdoor spectacle. The venue itself is situated in the most popular part of the city on Edinburgh Castle’s doorstep, high above the skyline.
Important Venue Information:
Bags: Small backpacks and bags are permitted, however bags over A3 size will not be allowed into the venue.
Clothes: We advise that you dress appropriately for the forecasted weather conditions and bring a warm and waterproof layer of clothing if necessary.
No umbrellas: Umbrellas are not permitted to be used in the arena.
No flash photography:
Photographs and videos (of less than two minutes) may be taken but should not be used for purposes of commercial gain. The use of tripods and monopods, and flash photography are forbidden.
Hot food: No hot food purchased outside the arena will be permitted.
No smoking or vaping: Smoking, or vaping, is not permitted within the venue.
No alcohol: Alcohol purchased outside the venue will not be permitted.
No cans or glass bottles: Bottles (more than 750ml), cans or glass containers will not be permitted in the venue. Please note, containers under 750ml will only be permitted if they are unopened.
Toilets: Toilets, including accessible toilets, are available inside the arena on ground level. A Changing Places Toilet (CPT) is also available.
