Day 1 - Monday:
We travel to our hotel. Dinner this evening.
DDay 2 - Tuesday:
We start today by visiting Kendal. Spending a couple of hours here before moving onto the Cumbrian town of Penrith. This afternoon, we enjoy a relaxing steam cruise on Englands most beautiful lake, Ullswater. We reutnr to our hotel via the narrow but beautiful, Kirkstone Pass.
B, DDay 3 - Wednesday:
Today we enjoy a scenic drive around the lakes. We include leisure time in Cockermouth as well as seeing Derwentwater, Bassenthwaite and Thirlmere
B, DDay 4 - Thursday:
We start today by enjoing a nostalgic steam train journey from Haverthwaite to Lakeside. We disembark at Lakeside for a delightful full lake cruise along the Lake Windermere, Englands largest lake. Enjoy time at leisure in Bowness before reboarding the baot and sailing up to Ambleside, where yo will disembark, have time at leisure before meeting the coach and heading back to our hotel.
B, DDay 5 - Friday:
First stop today is the ever popular town of Keswick. Though a small market town, Keswick is known for itrs picturescue scenery and mountain views. This afternoon we continue on to the pretty village of Grasmere. Perhaps best known as the home of William Wordsworth, the village of Grasmere is nestled at the foot of some spectacular fells, with its own lake, many shops, pubs and cafes.
B, DDay 6 - Saturday:
Sadly, its time to head home.

Set in 20 acres of private gardens and woodlands overlooking Morecambe Bay, the hotel is in a fabulous location just 15 minutes walk from Grange over Sands.
All bedrooms are furnished in a traditional style and the spacious restaurant offers fabulous views. There is a large bar/lounge area and leisure facilities include a tennis court, putting green, woodland fitness walk, snooker, pool, table tennis and a dartboard.
There is a lift at the hotel as well as some ground floor rooms (subject to availability please request)
