The Poppy Factory & Pub Lunch
We will explore the Poppy Factory, with a presentation followed by a 1 hour self-guided Tour which will include making your own poppy! After our visit we will board the coach and make our way onto our pub lunch, for a lovely three-course meal.

We start our morning exploring The Poppy Factory which is located in Richmond.
Visits are 90 minutes long. This includes a 30-minute presentation and 1-hour self-guided time where attendees will have the opportunity to explore the exhibition and also have a go at poppy-making.
When you choose to visit The Poppy Factory, you’ll be exploring the history of Remembrance in Richmond and discover the story of the people behind the poppies and remembrance wreaths. Established in the aftermath of the First World War, The Poppy Factory developed into a community of wounded and injured veterans and their families. Today, The Poppy Factory is a national charity that supports veterans and their families with health conditions on their journey into all kinds of employment. By booking a visit, you‘ll help more veterans to rebuild their lives.
The Poppy Factory is mobility friendly – all one level, plenty of seating everywhere and we have a number of large accessible toilets. Wheelchair, walkers and mobility scooters welcome!
There will be No refreshments available at the Poppy Factory
After our tour has finished, we will board the coach and make our way onto our pub lunch. Here, you will be served a three-course meal. Menu choices will be available closer to the departure date.
