View Dates & BookThriplow Daffodil Weekend & Country Fair is a traditional country fair providing wholesome family entertainment in a beautiful village setting.
There's so much to do and see, it's easy to spend the whole day walking around the village entertainments.
Each year, the village has planted more daffodils, of both early and late varieties, now having planted in the region of 500,000 bulbs.
Visitors are welcome to walk through the village to see the stunning displays. There are now over 100 different varieties on show so that flowers can be seen as early as January and as late as June although the display is at it's best from early March to the second week in April.
Join us for a day of fun activities for all the family and amble through over 100 stalls to find that something special. Check out the blacksmiths at work in the Smithy and be entertained by the merry Morris dancers. Then recharge at Taste of Thriplow for street food and beer or enjoy hot drinks and homemade cake at our Village Tearooms. With live music being played all around the village its the perfect place to get some springtime cheer.
We have about 120 craft stalls and up to 30 take-away food vendors. We also have many different varieties of daffodils too, planted within the village, amongst the stalls, along the roadside and in the gardens for you to view.
MOBILITY:
The event is spread throughout our village and a lot of walking is involved. Walking is mostly on tarmac and many attractions can be viewed from the roadside, but a number of our stalls are located on uneven grassed areas and accessibility may be limited for wheelchair users in these locations. We do not have mobility scooters or wheelchairs available to hire.
