Start your journey in the magnificent Marble Hall surrounded by dazzling decorations. Be amazed as you explore the sparkling state rooms in on a self-led tour this Christmastime.

Thursford Christmas Spectacular

Thursford’s Christmas Spectacular has attracted over 5.8 million visitors to date and is the largest Christmas show in the country.

It is set in the magical surroundings of mechanical organs and fairground carousels, with a cast of 120 professional singers, dancers and musicians – most of whom are straight out of the West End. The three hour performance delivers an extravaganza of non-stop singing, dancing, music, humour (adult) and speciality acts.

It’s a fast moving celebration of the festive season featuring an eclectic mix of both seasonal and year-round favourites, with famous and much-loved chart toppers being performed alongside traditional carols.

Word of this amazing show has spread and it is now generally recognised as being the largest show of its kind in the country, if not Europe.

The performance lasts 3 hours and has a 25-minute interval.

Day 1 - Friday:

We complete our pick ups and head towards Thetford Garden Centre, where we will be stopping, for an opportunity for lunch. We then continue on to Holkham Hall for 'Holkham Hall by Candlelight' - be amazed as you explore the sparkling state rooms in on a self-led tour. See one of Norfolk's favourite attractions dressed up in Christmas lights and adorned with decs!
We then head to our hotel, The Wensum Valley Hotel & Country Club, where we check in and enjoy dinner.

Day 2 - Saturday:

Breakfast at leisure at the hotel this morning, followed by a leisurely morning to relax. Why not make the most of the hotels leisure facilities, including a gym, studio, swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and hot tub? We tuck into a late lunch at the hotel this afternoon, before heading to Thursford.

We aim to arrive at Thursford a couple of hours before the show to give you time to experience the grounds all illuminated.
Check out The Christmas Shop, where you'll find fabulous decorations, tableware, gifts and toys. The Best of British Pantry Shop has a wonderful collection of the very best British jams, biscuits and chutneys. The Corner Shop is a stylish place to shop for fashion, accessories, crafts and unique gifts.

With multiple shops to explore, you'll also have the opportunity (at your own cost) to enter the Enchanted Journey of Light - Thursford's Outdoor Light Trail.

After the show, we head back to our hotel.
