Day 1
Depart Kent:
This morning we begin our journey North to our overnight hotel where we will spend the night.
Dinner is included this evening.
Day 2
Travel to Belfast:
We have an earlier start this morning, checking out after breakfast and making our way to Cairnryan to catch our ferry crossing to Belfast.
Arriving in Belfast, we enjoy a city tour with our very own tour guide and driver, Tony. We stay at the world-famous Europa Hotel this evening, one of the most luxurious hotels in Belfast, providing first-class hospitality for over 50 years.
The evening is yours to explore the many restaurants and bars Belfast has on offer, just moments from the hotel. Dinner is not included at the hotel.
Day 3
Titanic Belfast, Bushmills, Giants Causeway & Letterkenny:
After breakfast at our hotel, we visit the excellent Titanic Belfast. Here, we enjoy a self-guided Titanic Experience through 10 interactive galleries where you will uncover the sights, sounds, smells and stories of the ship, as well as the people and city that made her. We move on this afternoon to see the spectacular Giants Causeway. Stopping on route at Bushmills, famously known for its Whisky, you will have the opportunity to grab some lunch. Famous for its unique volcanic stone pillars and shrouded in folklore and fairy tales, the Giant’s Causeway is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and makes for an extraordinary, with dramatic cliffs and crashing waves. After a fascinating day, we check into our hotel, the Radisson Blu Hotel in Letterkenny. Dinner is included at the hotel this evening.
Day 4
Donegal & Travel to Westport:
We enjoy breakfast at our hotel this morning, before making our way towards the Georgian town of Westport. We visit Donegal on route, Irelands most spectacular County on the Wild Atlantic Way, pack full of culture, heritage, lovely beaches, mountains and lakes. We continue towards Sligo, stopping at a lovely country Tavern, where you will have time for lunch. Our base for this evening is the luxury, 4-star Westport Plaza Hotel. Dinner is included at the hotel.
Day 5
Galway & Arrive in Killarney:
After a hearty breakfast, we check out and make our way to the popular Killarney, where we will spend 2 nights.
We stop in Galway, a medieval city on Ireland’s west coast offering a wonderful selection of shops, traditional pubs, boutiques and art galleries. Here, you will have plenty of choice for lunch. Continuing to the Randles Hotel in Killarney. Dinner is not included at the hotel this evening. There are plenty of options for food a short walk from the hotel.
Day 6
Killarney:
Breakfast included at the hotel this morning, with the rest of the day at leisure for you to explore the thriving Killarney. Perhaps step back in time and experience a Jaunting Car Ride, one of Irelands most traditional modes of transport. Discover the towns scenery and history as well as a spot of lunch at one of the lovely eateries.
Dinner is not included this evening. Explore the many eateries in the town centre, a short walk from the hotel.
Day 7
Ring of Kerry & Bantry:
We depart Killarney this morning after breakfast at our hotel.
First stop today is the famous Ring of Kerry. Enjoy an unforgettable tour with lush countryside and beautiful lake views. A wonderful scenic drive from the comfort of our coach, with plenty of photo opportunities along the way.
We make a stop for lunch in the quaint and pretty town of Waterville, a firm favourite of Charlie Chaplin, before continuing our tour of the Ring of Kerry and making our way to Bantry. We check in to the Maritime Hotel in Bantry, where we will spend the next 2 nights. Perfectly placed in the centre of Bantry this hotel offers stylish accommodation overlooking Bantry Bay. Dinner is not included this evening
Day 8
Bantry Sightseeing Tour:
Breakfast at our hotel. Today, our driver Tony takes us on a sightseeing tour around Bantry and the surrounding areas. Visit Mizen Head, the Furthest Westerly Point in Ireland. Here, you will have the opportunity for you to visit Mizen Head lighthouse for an additional cost. Dinner is not included this evening.
Day 9
Cobh & Waterford:
We check out of our hotel after breakfast and head to the historic tourist town of Cobh, famously known as the last port of call for the Titanic. After time at leisure, we continue to Waterford, our base for the night. Waterford was established by Vikings in the 9th Century and has become the capital of Irelands sunny South East. Enjoy time at leisure this afternoon and explore all the city has to offer. Perhaps visit the city’s museums and the world-famous Waterford Crystal. The Dooley’s Hotel, a popular, family run, central hotel is where we will spend tonight. Dinner is not included, but there are plenty of eateries nearby.
Day 10
Guinness Storehouse & Dublin:
We depart Waterford this morning and make our way to Dublin. We visit the well-known Guinness Storehouse. Savour the sights, sounds, tastes and aromas of Irelands most iconic beer. The experience includes a self-guided tour of the storehouse and entry to the tasting rooms and bar, with a pint included.
After, we check into our hotel and the rest of the afternoon is at leisure to explore the city. Perhaps visit Trinity College, the home of the book of Kells. There is no dinner at the hotel this evening but you are spoilt for choice in this marvellous City
Day 11
Dublin Tour & Ferry to Wales:
We check out of our hotel this morning and embark on our final sightseeing as we enjoy a guided tour of the city, including sights of Phoenix Park, home of the Irish President and Dublin Zoo. We then make our way to catch our afternoon ferry crossing back to North Wales.
Arriving the other side, we make our way to our hotel for the night. Please note, within our April Tour we stay at the Celtic Royal Hotel, in which dinner in included. For our Ocotber tour, we stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Spa Chester, and dinner is included whilst on the ferry.
Day 12
Homeward Bound:
Sadly, the tour has almost come to an end. We check out of our hotel after breakfast and make our way back to Kent. We stop on route for a couple of hours for lunch.
