Day 1 – Monday:
We travel to Coleford, for our 4-night stay.
DDay 2 - Tuesday:
This morning we cross the border into Wales to the Georgian market town of Monmouth, famous for its unique 13 century Monmow Bridge. We then return to England for a relaxing cruise along the River Wye from Symonds Yat West, which has long been one of the most spectacular stretches of the Wye Valley. Returning to the hotel for dinner and entertainment.
B, DDay 3 - Wednesday:
Today we follow the twists and turns of the Wye Valley for a coffee break and photo opportunity at the magnificent ruins of Tintern Abbey, before continuing to the historic walled border town of Chepstow, which is dominated by the oldest surviving stone castle in Britain, on the banks of the River Wye. We then return to the delightful Royal Forest of Dean for a relaxing round trip on the Dean Forest Railway. Back to the hotel this evening for dinner and entertainment.
B, DDay 4 - Thursday:
We spend today in the charming city of Gloucester, with its blend of history and culture. You could visit the majestic Gloucester Cathedral, famed for its stunning architecture and as a filming location for the Harry Potter films. Perhaps take a stroll through the picturescue Gloucester Docks, home to the National Waterways Museum and a vibrant array of shops, cafes and restaurants. Returning to the hotel for dinner and evening entertainment.
B, DDay 5 - Friday:
We check out after breakfast and head home.

The Bells Hotel & Country Club
Located in the Forest of Dean on the outskirts of Coleford, the hotel is positioned in a peaceful location on a hill with beautiful views over the Wye Valley. Each of the bedrooms are of a high standard. The hotel has no lift but there are ground floor rooms. The hotel is located across two buildings, with the reception, bedrooms, and beauty suite in one and the bar, restaurant, and terrace in the other. Single rooms are standard singles. A supplement may be applied to a double/twin room for sole use.
