Day 1- Monday:
We depart Kent and make our way to our hotel in Harrogate.
DDay 2 - Tuesday:
This morning begins with a 30 minute journey through the scenic Yorkshire Dales on the Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway, before enjoying free time for lunch in the charming market town of Skipton. This afternoon, we watch the world drift by on a relaxing 1 hour narrowboat cruise along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal through the picturescue Pennine countryside with tea/coffee on board. Dinner at the hotel.
B, DDay 3 - Wednesday:
With breakfast at the hotel, the rest of the day is yours to explore. The lovely Victorian spa town of Harrogate offers the grade II listed Royal Pump Room Museum, various independent and well-known shops, the famous Bettys Café Tea Rooms, the luxurious Turkish Baths and several pretty gardens. Dinner at the hotel.
B, DDay 4 - Thursday:
This morning we embark on a journey through Bronte country on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway. Look out for the station which boasted a starring role in the film The Railway Children. After, we make our way to the imposing Harewood House. With its stunning interiors, beautiful gardens and remarkable views. Returning to the hotel for dinner this evening.
B, DDay 5 - Friday:
Sadly, it’s time to head home.

The Crown Hotel, Harrogate
With a history dating back over 300 years, this historical hotel is ideally located in the charming old town of Harrogate, just moments from many of its most popular sites. All individually styled bedrooms are equipped with a TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Dining-wise, breakfast is served in the historic Churchill Suites, complete with oak-panelled walls, stained glass windows and ornate ceiling decorations, and there’s also a stylish restaurant, as well as a comfortable bar and lounge area.
